Inner Peace Is Worth It When Forced to Live in a Chaotic World

Being that this is a personal blog, I feel like being real for a moment. As I willingly choose to tap back into the digital world again, I'm observing how chaotic it is, but it is what it is, honey. Between algorithms, celebrity gossip, entertainment, spirituality, wellness, and everything else in between, it can be quite overwhelming. Moreover, with there now being this obsession for some of us (humanity as a whole) to go viral and only use content creation as a business, it's...well...intimidating. Not to mention, when someone or groups of individuals don't like what's being displayed, a screenshot or clip is just waiting to be passed around in...(I like to call it "the internet streets").

I decided to express my curiosity about the pressures of monetizing intellectual property and a few introverted thoughts about media and staying away from drama. We live in a world where originality...actually, a better word is "authenticity" is becoming more complex. We judge each other so harshly (I've been guilty of it too), but at the same time, I understand. We live in a world where our pain is a business and can be used to make money, and life is a game (basically a puzzle). It's scary thinking about how imperfectly perfect we really are as human beings because morality starts from within. We live in a world where innocent people are criminalized, and criminals are deemed innocent; we live in a world where sometimes the facades of being good are valued more than the overall character of an individual, and we live in a world where corruption can potentially be valued over honesty and transparency. Keep in mind, this is only one perspective because sometimes a problem has to be resolved from within or inconspicuously (which gets a lil' tricky as well).

Unfortunately, LIFE HAPPENS, and when it does...man oh man...it's important that we find inner peace. As I continue to grow older, mature, and sit with myself(meditate)...I've come to realize that absolutely no one is perfect. Chile, I'll always say I like to make "a lil' jokey joke," plus I have a smart mouth, but I no longer choose to have an inner circle that doesn't align with who I am. I've found my peace in yoga, drinking herbal tea, hittin' a lil' 1,2 step, sitting outside, a.k.a. meditation, and trying to quiet the mind with pure silence or even SoundCloud, when the mix is hittin' on something but anywho, inner peace is different for everyone and it sucks how easy it is to get caught up in nonsense, even as someone who stays to themself (offline or online).

I firmly believe that there's nothing new under the sun, and I'm grateful for the simple things like food, being in good health, and nature...I love food, honey!…and of course the Divine…or even laughing because we're all going through something, whether it be financially, mentally, emotionally, or physically.
