To Be or Not to Be a Career Woman?
Updated: Sep 6

To be clear, we as women are Divine...Spiritual...Life Givers; and for the Divine (not karmic) empresses, we deserve to have the best of both worlds: love & a career.
I remember being called a career woman a few years ago by my ex, and when I think about it today, I guess they were right, but to a certain extent, it wasn't by choice, and I've certainly gotten distracted along the way(finally, no more delays). As women, some of us grow up with a plan for our lives in terms of marriage, children, career, etc., hoping that things pan out exactly the way we imagined. Even for me, I thought I would at least be married to my dream husband, working as a teacher or radiologist, but that's far from what I experienced. Particularly, I continued to attract men with narcissistic personalities, etc. (not all, though; we just weren't compatible). I don't know how this is coming off in writing, but to clarify: I've only been in three relationships and had some unfortunate events/situationships in between.
Recently, I've been listening to beautiful love stories, including classmates and strangers telling me their love stories of how they met their significant other/spouse, and it gives me hope. On the other hand, my friend doesn't want me to give up on love, but sometimes marriage isn't meant for everyone. Genuine love is beautiful, and in this lifetime I continue to learn to let the Divine take the lead in my life; my boundaries matter, and losing focus because of temporary distractions is no longer an option regarding my aspirations.
I still believe a Divine union is sacred between two people(but do whatever floats your boat, honey) because to give someone full access to your mind, body, and spirit should be nothing less than Divine. Reciprocal, not transactional. Divine, not karmic. Clarity, not confusion. Genuine, not manipulative. Loyalty, not betrayal. But things happen. It's all about what you're willing to accept. I would say pleasure, not pain, but a lil' consensual pain with pleasure is okay.
Almost went off topic about 50 Shades of Coco, I mean Grey. Anywho...
A man who cares about you will protect and take care of you, simple; a woman who cares about you will nurture you with reciprocity. simple. For my spiritual loves, replace the man with Divine masculine and woman with Divine feminine.
Growing up to be a responsible, independent woman was instilled in me by my mother at an early age, but she still always taught me to let a real man be a man if one were to ever sweep me off my feet, and chile, this princess is still waiting. Life has had its caveats, to say the least, so I'm in no rush. When it's Divine, it's sublime. My mother always hopes that I meet my romantic soulmate, but honestly, I'm not so sure about all of that anymore, especially after growing comfortable with my own self-love journey. When I listen to or observe anything regarding abuse, cheating, betrayal, drama, open relationships, etc. in the tangible world...instantly not for me. Plus, after finding out which house my stellium is in...yeah, it's giving let go and let God. Shout out to cosmology and astrology.
In all seriousness, I feel like I've grown to have a different respect for those of us who refuse to settle because I believe there's somebody for everybody, but whether you meet that somebody in a physical lifetime is up to the Divine. I'm not wasting time with someone I don't like. That honeymoon phase is a facade, baby. Show me the real deal so I can fall in love with all of you & vice versa, because no one is perfect. Do preferences matter? Absolutely. But are betrayal and mistrust included in the equation? Absolutely not.
All I know is, if or when the time comes for us to meet, if the Divine allows us to do so in this lifetime: 1. I probably won't be ready, and 2. It'll be sacred and on a need-to-know basis. The beautiful loves who need to know will know.
