Dirt was thrown but instead a rose grew from honey and potatoes. You’ve always been a flower meant to love and be loved but just like a forgotten garden, sometimes weeds and crabgrass grow in the meadows. The wasps tried to sting you and the flies swarmed while you were down, but they didn’t understand that your guardian angels are profound.

Sometimes rising like a phoenix from the ashes and blossoming into a rose is justice enough

To be clear, anyone who makes it through the tunnel of a dark night of the soul (there may be more than one), is a true soldier of life and my heart goes out to anyone who chooses not to let the woes of life turn them into a selfish monster or continue a cycle of intentional pain, stress, hurt, etc. because it's not easy. Although dramatized, this documentary is a good example and a small glimpse of what a cycle of pain and poverty can do (and this is only one topic of many):
