The Yin-Yang Twins
This prayer is inspired by a beautiful singer I grew up listening to. We all deserve true love without malice, but self-love is the best love. LOVE YOURSELF FIRST!
To be honest, I wrote down the husband I wanted a few years ago, but since that journal is hiding somewhere and I’ve learned some lessons since then, it’s time I create something new. I pray that in Divine timing, or whenever the stars align, the yang to my yin and vice versa can connect, and we love each other unconditionally until our physical time in this earthly realm has perished. May his weaknesses be my strengths and my weaknesses be his strengths to allow balance in a way that creates new spaces as we elevate each other to be a better version of ourselves as the illusion of time passes by, and to pick each other back up on those days when we fall short. I pray that we create a genuine family of love and respect, and we adore and cherish each other, as well as our children, without the facades of what a marriage is supposed to look like for the public to see. I want us to build an unbreakable bond that surpasses the physical realm and can be felt even when surrounded by others. I want a protective man, made just for me, and selfless but selfish with his own self-love (what’s understood between us doesn’t need to be explained to others) and loves and appreciates my imperfectly perfect authentic self and the natural beauty that comes along with it and I want him to understand that he can be vulnerable on those days when the weight of the world feels heavy on his shoulders. I want a Divine union where we only have eyes for each other without being toxic, possessive, or manipulative towards each other, but with the understanding that I don’t play about mine.

PLEASE DON’T LET HIM BE OBSESSED WITH SOCIAL MEDIA OR TRENDING NONSENSE AND PREFERABLY SOMEONE A LIL’ ADVENTUROUS, LIKES TO TRY NEW THINGS, GOOD WITH HIS HANDS, LIKES TO JOKEY JOKE, AND BE ON ANY TIME, ANY PLACE TYPE OF TIME… Chile, hopefully we have similar humor, sigh
Anywho…
Forever is a long time, but time flies when you’re having fun, and this physical life is temporary. I pray that the pressures of materialism take a backseat in our minds as we cherish the days coasting, elevating, and appreciating that the Divine allowed us to come together in a world of billions of people. May we connect intellectually, spiritually, physically, sexually, mentally, financially, and emotionally in a way that almost seems impossible if the Divine hadn’t orchestrated everything to fall in place herself. I want us to be open to continuously evolving, growing, and learning not only from each other but also from the world because we understand that it can easily chew you up and spit you out.
With the understanding that true love isn’t malicious, nor does it involve cheating, I pray that we laugh until we cry and cry until we release. I pray we appreciate the silent moments when there’s nothing to say, understanding that sometimes alone time is needed to recharge when disagreements happen, and sometimes silence is the answer. May we be patient enough with each other to understand that these emotional scars took time to build, but vulnerable enough with each other to trust that we’re placing each other’s complex hearts in the right hands.
